Pros
This year's October review's don't really do the company justice. Yes, some people were let go. And yes, the problematic situation of the company could have been made known to the employees sooner. However, the employees who had to be let go were given full support in finding a new place to work. -They did not have to work anymore in their last month here, so they could find another job -They were given monetary compensation -I believe the company also played a role in finding them another place to work(all employees from a closed office were hired by the same company, before their contract here was terminated) Overall, the company is not bad - as they offer a lot of flexibility Want to work 20 hour weeks? That's fine. Want to work 25, 30, 35, 40? That is also fine. Want to take a few months off(unpaid leave)? That's fine as well. Can maintain a good work-life balance because of this. The pay is not bad by any means. If you actually do a good job, you will be compensated as such. Gaining years of experience don't necessarily mean you're also accumulating knowledge and skill, so under-performing people will not be given insane raises just because they added another year to their career, which is fair in my opinion.
Cons
Benefits could slightly be better. A new employee pretty much only has sports allowance as a benefit, a private medical subscription, and a 1k euro device after a year. It takes a few years before other benefits like meal tickets, extra free days, increased sports allowance, etc. can be accessed. Benefits aren't bad, but they could be slightly better.
