Pros
They feed you well Nice view
Cons
I wish I could go back to my younger self and beg me not to accept this job. I worked there for over a year and the day I left I was happier than any day I had at work. The job is humiliating with your “clients” being brokers who would rather never hear your voice and constantly ignore and belittle you with requests or screaming at you over the phone that they have more important things to do than deal with Costar. 5 on the dot I was sprinting out the door to escape. Yes, there’s some decent people to talk to, but at the end of the day I felt like I had accomplished nothing even when you had a good conversation. Your goal is to “smile and dial” and pester these people even when they tell you to stop because you have to hit your ridiculous made-up metrics. God forbid you ask me to do anything in excel because I think I lost brain cells over my tenure because all I did was BS my way through conversations to get to 90 seconds or just hang up the phone to pretend I tried to do something. Please do not work here. It’s toxic and you’ll wish you had waited for the next job to come along. You don’t feel like an adult there, just a child in a glorified call center that even the most prestigious clients absolutely despise.
