Pros

Decent base salary; good benefits; good tech tools to perform the job efficiently.

Cons

Sales challenges due to poor market perception of value proposition. Senior leadership hasn't taken action to provide needed marketing or sales support to address those challenges. Instead, leadership sets sales quotas at the national level, in spite of vastly different pricing and market adoption/perception across the country. The result of this dynamic has meant 100% turnover (1 sales director and 7 sales reps) in less than 2 years. The pervasive culture at CoStar is well established by the founder and CEO. That is, there is opportunity to earn well, but expect to be treated rather poorly, and pay close attention to the mechanisms in the comp plan to not get paid a commission.

Pros

Work-life balance is quite good

Cons

There isn't a ton of flexibility, but you get a lot of PTO that makes up for it

Pros

I worked for Homes.com - Great first job out of college to learn a lot about sales and can make good money in the first 3 months - FIND PEOPLE THAT HAVE DONE THIS JOB AND HAVE LEFT AND FIGURE OUT WHY CUZ THEY'LL TELL YOU

Cons

I worked for Homes.com - You're doing 3 jobs in one and the pay does not reflect that - it is churn and burn. The average tenure here is 7 months - Management doesn't know what's going on 3/4 of the time. It is all up to the CEO and he's on his private jet more than 3/4 of the time
