Pros
Great community. All the staff at Code Fellows each has their own unique experience and they are more than happy to share it. Ability to dive into brand new technologies is probably my favorite part about the company. They keep up to date with the newest trends, and allow you to dive into those trends to share it with the students. It keeps me, as a developer, up to date, while not missing out on industry work. Supportive management. I am always able to turn to my managers when there are issues and we always work on a solution. Code Fellows does not micromanage their employees. The ability to learn from and be exposed to adults from all backgrounds to teach them software development.
Cons
Teaching a class has it's stressors, and sometimes prepping can overflow into your personal hours. This is only when first starting to teach, after an iteration or two, you begin to have a better work/life balance.
