Pros
One perk worth mentioning is that employees receive an extra vacation day every quarter, which is a nice benefit to help balance out the work stress.
Cons
I’ve been working for several years at Cognyte Bulgaria in the Nexyte product house, and things have really gone downhill. Earlier leadership within the Nexyte engineering team fostered a strong sense of trust and support, which helped the teams stay motivated and focused. But at the start of 2025, there was a major internal shift. Since then, many strong contributors were let go in what felt like a purge, seemingly due to internal politics and past reporting structures. The environment has turned toxic, with backstabbing from long-time employees who seem to have grown too comfortable and unaccountable, particularly in teams like marketing, where the impact isn’t clearly visible. Meanwhile, the sales team has been experiencing high turnover, likely due to issues with the commission structure and a broken sales funnel. As a result, the product team has had to shoulder an increasing amount of the work. Nexyte’s current engineering leadership has not stepped up to provide clear direction or support. There is a noticeable disconnect with the local culture, and many of the recent changes have disrupted working systems rather than improving them. The mood among the teams is tense, with many people feeling insecure about their future and hesitant to speak up. The leadership style feels driven more by control than by collaboration.
