Pros

I liked the culture at Cogs, it was adult and autonomous. Unlike other recruitment companies - there were no nagging management breathing down your neck - you felt supported to hit your targets. Good team work too, lots of cross over of roles and areas but the teams of consultants were fair about ownership and it made it a nice place to work.

Cons

More breakout areas in the office. Sometimes it is good to have a space to make calls to clients etc.

Pros

They have a great book of business with clients that pay on time.

Cons

They're running a Ponzi Scheme. They're currently under guidance from HMRC (UK Tax Authority) to pay back loans. Unfortunately they're paying these loans (and other contractors) with cash from accounts that should have been paid directly to contractors they recruited. This is called a Ponzi Scheme
