- Toxic work culture - Micromanagement by CEO of each department to the level where he is bypassing the head of the department and managers to instruct the associates himself. - Unrealistic expectations to work outside work hours and on weekends - Entire company including co-founders and senior management disapprove of the CEO's actions but do not raise their voice because he throws tantrums (literally) - CEO borderline abuses lower level employees by shouting at them, humiliating them and breaking the chain of command when he should be coordinating with his senior management respectfully. - Often felt like I had over 3 reporting mangers because of lack of clarity and trust among the senior management. - Often asked by manager to lie/twist facts to senior management or CEO if asked about the department's performance - Mistrust among senior management which causes drama among departments and hinders performance - High turnover: Hire and let go of people without any planning thus high turn over - Lack of opportunity to grow - No on-boarding - Expectations to straight up lie to clients to secure their business.
