Pros
I have been an employee at Collins Engineers for 2.5 years on the Structural Inspection side, and in that time I have been presented with multiple opportunities to develop and grow as an engineer. I have had a great experience with everyone I've worked with at Collins Engineers, which instills a great sense of support and loyalty throughout the company.
Overall, Collins takes the time to invest in their employees by encouraging continuing education courses, specialized training, and conferences. Upper management does a really good job of adapting and listening to their employees. Collins provides multiple resources throughout the company to help aid with the completion of projects. There is a good sense of communication and togetherness throughout all the offices of the company. Structural inspections is the driving factor here, and allows for opportunities to work in some unique environments as well as specialized projects (diving, climbing, drone inspections).
The Denver Office as a whole has been a great office to be a part of. On the Structural Inspection side there is a good variety of projects to work on and opportunities to develop new skills. The office culture is very much so work hard play hard mentally with great flexibility, a sense of family and togetherness and promotes a good work/home life balance. As it can get pretty busy at times, upper management does a very good job at checking in and making sure all available resources are at your disposal to complete projects efficiently. Senior Project Managers are very helpful with guidance and support throughout all levels of the project.
Bryant, the Regional Manager, and manager of the Denver office has done a wonderful job of staffing this office. Providing opportunity for growth and obtaining a variety of projects for employees to work on has created more reliable and fulling work. In this office there are also opportunities for Civil Site, and Structural Design work.
Cons
None that I can think of.
