Pros
Entry level job, good to gather resources in the community and make connections in the field.
Cons
Supervisors micromanage employees (especially the ones who are younger), if there is a complaint from a client there is no support from management, you are told to change your documentation to have less detail so there are no questions about the chart and when the chart is reviewed you get dinged for not having enough detail, management won't support you when there is discrepancy with what a client says versus what is documented and signed by the client in the chart (they will terminate you instead), they will block you from moving up to get professional licensure but claim that it takes time to process things (it was verified that the manager had blocked the transfer), they will send you to clients homes that are known to be unsafe when clients are unstable and then write you up if you don't go for your own safety, you are severely underpaid, the case managers are sharing an offi e and that leads to privacy concerns, and I could go on and on.
2 stars is being generous.
