Pros

Perhaps the best company to work for. Here are my observations so far 1) The seniors are magical. They uphold the mission and vision of the company and align them through the various job profiles and workplace 2) Office is like heaven. It is literally like a 5 star experience every single day. 3) Employees are amazing. Super friendly, super welcoming, the vibe and energy is sensational. 4) People are always there to help. Everytime you have a doubt, all you have to do is reach out to the seniors. They are there to help always 5) This is my dream job. I am able to bring the best every single day because of the perfect support and inspiration I am getting here

Cons

A bit of time management and managing work ethic Standerdization of the processes

Pros

This is going to be a long list folks. The company itself is so transparent with all that goes on at the highest levels of the organization that I can tell you, the reader, that this review will be read, pondered, and acted upon by the leadership team and the entire company. I know what some of you are thinking (especially if you're in or have been in this situation) - oh my goodness, I couldn't do that - what if they find out who wrote it? I'm here to tell you, that's exactly the best part of the organization. It's not punitive. It's not a witch hunt. It's not trying to find out who's dissatisfied and quietly showing them the door. It's honest-to-goodness willingness to listen, learn, and grow. If you're looking for a home where you can make the best of your skills and surround yourself with people who are smart, humble, and hard working - come on over, because we welcome you and your talents with open arms! The compensation, benefits, and perks are top notch for the industry. The people are absolutely fantastic and always willing to help. There is a generous education allowance to use in the way that you deem fit (formal courses, online courses, professional conferences, certifications, etc.) to continue to build up your individual skill set in support of the organization. The experience as a remote employee has also been fantastic. I never feel alone. We have a large variety of methods of communication and the organization as a whole does just as much to appreciate us as they do to the folks that do office in SLC. Our tools are constantly evolving to meet the client and developer needs. I just today heard that a sorely needed feature in one of our products will be launched within the next couple of months. I love to help promote the use of the tools when I know for a fact that input is wanted and that input is actually used!

Cons

I would say the biggest issue that I have simply revolves around how much we've grown in such a short amount of time. Being a new employee in Professional Services has been tough and would have been impossible without my amazing team. There's SO MUCH information out there in various tools that there's just no way a person can understand where to go and possibly consume it all. A lot of relevant information is buried under irrelevant information. New tools come out, are exciting for a bit, then die away. The second largest issue in my mind is that the goals and desires of the Professional Services organization do not jive AT ALL with the goals and desires of my particular client. Now, I know that I have tunnel vision and that I haven't had enough experience with any other clients yet - I'm sure that with more time and exposure, more insights will occur. But I really feel like the work that I'm doing for my client has no relation to the goals of the overall organization. Here's the thing though - I know that improvement to these areas are in the works. It takes time to think through the best ways to deal with these issues and I have faith that the time will come where these cons won't be listed here anymore and new cons will take their place.
