Pros

The pay is decent ($22/hr for Level II Tech), very humane management who are very accommodating, work load is moderate to light depending on station you’re assigned too, healthy and friendly workplace environment, and they’re constantly bringing in free food. Genuinely can’t recommend it enough. Light years different from my last job. Also the insurance is very good, I’ve had to get a procedure done that would cost probably over $1000 that only cost $200 and I have had GP visits that cost me nothing.

Cons

Hospital policies vary a fair amount between locations which can cause for some confusion. This part isn’t so much as a con, as much as it is something to watch out for if you become employed - you have to make your own schedule every month or they will make it for you. This allows you to have a very high degree of flexibility in your schedule, but also if you forget, you can end up with a fairly screwed up month.

Great pay Great benefits Great team culture Great non-profit values

Cons

Large corporation going through a lot of structural changes these past few years had made it difficult to keep things aligned as the company disassociated from advent health, while simultaneously merging centura health into commonspirit
