Pros

Flexible hours, remote work, and PTO. Good work/life balance. Great benefits, 401k, stock options, and annual bonus. Great culture sets them apart from typical corporate / financial services industry. Senior management is very passionate about creating an indispensable service for their financial advisors and clients. Employees are friendly, fun, and proud of their work. Employees are encouraged to explore opportunities to grow, and are allotted a large training budget.

Cons

Employee count increased substantially in recent years and the company has experienced considerable growing pains as a result. Lack of policies, procedures, and infrastructure in place to accommodate growth. IT continues to struggle in transitioning from small-scale to large-scale operations, negatively impacting the company's ability to innovate, move quickly, and remain competitive. Lack of cohesive vision and direction has polarized the IT department. Salary has historically been below regional and industry standards. Annual bonus numbers are seemingly pulled out of a hat.

Pros

Honestly CFN has been the best job of my life. Despite the acquisition of LPL I still think my direct manager is very supportive and there for our team. The work life balance (for now) is still great. My WFH days to help a lot. Even though some people feel bearish of the future of CFN I remain a bit hopeful. I truly hope LPL does allow us to remain a separate subsidiary permanently as our culture is quite unique. So far the M&A has not been too bad on us and in my opinion things are leaning toward the positive.

Cons

LPL acquisition should have never happened . Certain tenured folks have favoritism which is inappropriate

Pros

Hybrid schedule, building is very nice.

Cons

Management and higher ups are ruthless. They simply do not care about you. This company axed 5 contractors within 6 weeks. They lied about the workload decreasing as an excuse to let us all go.
