Pros
As long as you put in your available hours with enough warning, management did an okay job of respecting employee time off requests. Some coworkers were great. Free coffee is a huge perk, and the company has started to add some benefits for full time employees.
Cons
The company tends to push out employees with new or innovative ideas that do not mesh with the CEO's ideas. There is no respect for staff autonomy. The corporate office has no respect for the retail staff, frequently coming in, making jokes at staff expense, and disrespecting staff's time and expertise. When the air conditioning broke at the height of the summer (in a shop where the equipment maintains a temperature above 200 degrees), staff were expected to work full time +, and the corporate office laughed in staff's faces when asked for a bonus or any recognition of the WEEK spent working in 100+ degree store interior. There is a frat vibe from the office, with the only female staff hired being young and stereotypically attractive and not in any management position.
