Self scheduling sucks: you don't essentially get all the shifts you sign up for and as a full time staff do not have two consecutive days off every week especially if you want your weekends off because you need to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and you'll petition for shifts only to have supervisor go back and give you awkward gaps in between work where you work 3, 1 off, and back for 2 to get one off again.
