Pros

Working with patients. Site managers are usually supportive

Cons

Upper management is not very supportive. If you’re not a friend or question why they do something you’re not going to be there long. They are there for the money not the patients.

Pros

The organization serves a meaningful mission and many frontline staff are deeply committed to patient care. There are strong clinicians and team members who genuinely care about outcomes and work hard under challenging conditions. The work itself can be rewarding and impactful.

Cons

There were significant concerns related to leadership culture and accountability. Reports of favoritism and bullying were not uncommon, and hiring and promotion practices lacked transparency, contributing to distrust among staff. Expectations were often applied inconsistently, which impacted morale and created confusion around standards. There were also ongoing concerns regarding billing integrity and documentation overlap between disciplines. Staff who attempted to maintain strict accuracy in their billing practices often encountered pressure to modify documentation to align with existing nursing notes, creating ethical tension around compliance standards. This dynamic contributed to an environment where boundaries felt unclear and employees who prioritized documentation accuracy risked marginalization or being pushed out. The mission has strong potential, but meaningful cultural reform, clearer accountability, and reinforced compliance safeguards are necessary to support both employees and the communities served.
