Pros

I don't really have much to say here.

Cons

Avoid all business ventures involving Jason Gates and Ben Chehebar. They will screw you in the end.

Pros

From day one of the interview process with Raul (Head of Talent) I felt supported, heard, and encouraged to leverage the different skills I have developed in my diverse background. I have worked in Telecommunications, Retail, and Healthcare... even several years of bartending on the side, so while I was intrigued by Compology, I wasn't sure they'd see the fit, and boy did they correct me there! The interview process was very thorough, ensuring there was alignment with what they were looking for, along with am I going to be filling my own bucket with this career move. Raul was very communicative throughout the process, ensuring I knew exactly what to expect for next steps. Best decision ever! I absolutely love what I do and who I get to work with everyday. The company is relatively small at this point and the support is truly felt across the entire organization. With the innovation, mission to make the world a better place, and passion of the people who work here it is... dare I say easy.. to stay motivated and own what you do.

Cons

This is a fast paced, 'disrupting the industry' company, and things are consistently changing (for the better- process improvements). I personally wouldn't consider this a con, as I love being a part of writing the story! If you're someone who prefers a very black and white role with minimal process changes, this may not be the place for you.

Pros

Folks are really good about hiring when there is a real need for the position. Coming on board was great for me because I felt instantaneous ownership and autonomy over my area of responsibility. Help has always been available when I needed it, but otherwise we give a lot of room for employees to operate as they see fit. Our cofounders are super supportive and take a genuine interest in people's interests outside of work. They organized a company wide sailing trip because we have a couple employees who enjoy competitive sailing in their free time. We also have a member of the team who does e-sports casting and they made the time to sit in on one of her sessions, despite knowing nothing about the game. In general we make a big effort to organize company outings, and we do so with a lot of enthusiasm and a great deal of support from the top down. Also -- dogs are real cute to have in the office!

Cons

Working in the waste industry means that our customer base tends to keep very early hours. This translates to our own employees as well. Sales and operations teams are usually in by 8 and most engineers make it by 9. Luckily people are pretty good about leaving on time / keeping a healthy work-life balance. But the early hours are tough if you are not a morning person.
