Pros
The main job of the management is to manage the relationship between you and the government department. It’s always been fairly efficient and doesn’t get in the way of me doing my job. The pay is very generous and CC is very interested in retaining skilled employees. Also, just nice people all around.
Cons
The main frustrations are the antiquated HR systems that you will need to use on a regular basis. Also, despite their efforts, there isn’t a particularly strong cohesion between employees, because we are so deeply in bedded in the government. However, this isn’t entirely under their control. Just good to know going in.
