Pros
People are nice, where it's almost a 'family' type atmosphere and there is unlimited PTO!
Cons
Nice people does not equate to smart nor productive! Most of the employees are new to the industry (straight out of college) because many experienced people left (company's management is deranged, constantly encouraging people to leave with the motto "life beyond Conductor"). The management of this company is ridiculous to talk about IPOs and comparing ourselves to companies that DO NOT ENCOURAGE THEIR EMPLOYEES TO LEAVE! The product works (sometimes) and sales is usually able to oversell (and under deliver on promises). There is so much tech debt, that if I didn't need this job, I'd tell the clients to go elsewhere. Half the company is engineers but rolls out barely usable Products and features. The technology isn't great, I'm surprised the customers haven't figured this out either (it's literally 3 times cheaper to use other technologies with similar functionality). You realize how much Conductor is missing once you've left this company and go into another. Our support team WAS the best, but they've all left and there isn't anything to brag about when it comes to 'support' (more like asking for a headache). Pay is subpar (about 40% - 50% less than industry average) hence why there is a 'family' atmosphere. Liquidity event is a joke, took many years to vest the shares but my bonus at a new company is twice the value of the 'liquidity event'. A promotion in this company is moving from junior to senior with a 5% pay raise (what a joke).
