Pros

Nice modern office with a good atmosphere. Great colleagues who are supportive and easy to work with. Solid exposure to a modern tech stack and some good training opportunities if you can find the time to make use of them. The company is also quite flexible, which helps with work-life balance.

Cons

If you’re looking for a workplace that prioritizes open communication, career growth, and employee voice, this may not be the right fit. Management support is limited, communication can be unclear, and the overall culture often lacks transparency and positivity. The performance review process is inconsistent — employees may be encouraged to pursue promotions, only to be told later to reapply at a later date despite previous assurances. Micromanagement is common, and some managers have limited experience or leadership training. Staff morale is low, turnover is high, and long-term sick leave due to stress is not uncommon. It’s also fairly common for colleagues to leave unexpectedly, and some long-serving employees are departing at a rapid pace. Additionally, there are occasional issues with bonus payments and grading, with management often reducing payouts across the business.

Pros

The people doing the actual work are the strongest part of the company. Most colleagues are very capable, supportive, and genuinely trying to hold things together despite the wider organisational issues. Day‑to‑day teamwork is solid, and there’s a real sense of commitment among the staff who remain.

Cons

Since the sale of Confused… Staff are often told what to do without any explanation of why it matters. Priorities shift with no warning or context, leaving teams confused and misaligned. Micro‑management has increased across several areas, adding pressure and driving people away. The newer performance evaluation approach — which forces managers to rank people against each other — has created fear, competition, and a surge in departures. In a knowledge‑based company, losing experienced people at this pace is simply not sustainable. The organisation is bleeding talent, and the impact is obvious: slower delivery, lower morale, and teams constantly trying to rebuild from scratch.
