Pros
One of my favourite companies I've worked for. I enjoy agency work where I get a chance to work on lots of different interesting projects. The lead android developer is very knowledgeable in many areas of android and has taught me a lot. There is quite a focus on AOSP and Android automotive as conjure specialise in HMI. I also like companies that don't micro manage their employees and instead focus on motivating them to want to perform well. Conjure understand what motivates their employees. We have a whole company show and tell session every Friday which gives us all the chance to show off what we have achieved that week and keeps everyone connected even throughout lock down. They also offer flexible office working hours. The onus is on the individual to manage their work and their time and there is a culture of taking initiative and asking for forgiveness rather than permission. They have handled the pandemic very well. We were all working from home at least one week before national lock down and we will be working from home for at least two weeks after lock down ends. It's encouraging to feel like employee health is of utmost importance.
Cons
There aren't many. The company is still quite small, but this is more a question of personal preference. My salary is slightly above average for my position but there are higher paying companies out there. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
