Pros

- Working from home. Depending which team you are in, you can get away with doing 2-3 hour work days and that is not exaggerating, at all. - As with most companies, there ARE some lovely and genuine people there

Cons

In general it's very messy and if you don't know much about web3 you will not learn anything at all here. Meetings for the sake of it and the CEO and most others on the company wide calls read off a script.. even the person talking about cultures and values. Specifically the CEO might as well send an email out though, he literally reads the announcements. Not very motivating to watch. But the worst part with ConsenSys is that it is a pro-Israel company. 7th October 2024 they sent out an email concerned about anyone with "ties to Israel". When questioned about when the email showing support with anyone with ties to Palestine would come, they didn't dare to bring up the question publicly and did a politically "answer" privately, but the person asking the question shared with others. A previous manager had family members in IDF and sent his team Israeli propaganda on whatsapp and when one team member called it out, the said manager continued to send it privately to the rest (not everyone dares to speak up in fear of losing their jobs.) Same manager also made racist and misogynist comments.

Pros

CEO is of the nicest people and clueless to how bad his leadership team is.

Cons

The entire leadership team is very bad except the CEO. They only care to max extract the man anyway they can. Brand team, most of marketing is boys club. Marketing, brand, and social media teams all very bad and block many good campaigns ideas only care to make themselves look good. Over last three years they lost many very creative people. They used good projects to hold the wallet above water instead of cutting the team with the most bloat. They put the wrong leadership in charge of these projects on purpose and cut many very smart people who cared very much about the company.
