Pros

We have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across AU, NZ and US - and with team members across 4 continents! It also feels good to work on a product that helps clients see a big uplift in conversions - which definitely keeps things positive when we're collaborating with project account managers and engineering teams. Also day-to-day, our software team works really well together, even though many of us are remote. We also work on a very modern stack, with Svelte, AWS Lambda, Dynamo DB etc.

Cons

Like any software engineering team, there are periods of intense feature work - but we also often take the time to uplift our codebase, find ways to improve developer workflows and ensure team members are looked after.

Pros

- Growing very fast and with very ambitious goals - Uses Svelte on the majority of its projects - People are very welcoming to foreigners - Spends resources on team development - Offers bonuses based on performance - Pays above Brazil's average salaries for same position and experience - Offers holidays and personal time-off - Opportunities to grow professionally within the company - You get challenged a lot - All the help and time you need when facing a project you didn't have onboarded into yet

Cons

Some communication issues and delay because of time differences between Brazil and Australia. Having a small team, sometimes you get overburdened, but not for long periods of time.

Pros

The design philosophy here is amazing, we're always running design workshops and trying new ideas with minimal red tape. It's so refreshing to be able to test and learn quickly with reliable data from a great performance team. It's a pretty flat structure here and we work closely with both performance and dev teams, it's always fruitful to get together and trouble shoot problems and float solutions to improve experiences. There's always something new or interesting to bite into and the clients vary in their size, work, and industries.

Cons

End of projects crunches or tight deadlines, but this happens at all workplaces, although not constantly here.
