Pros
- Great people within the company - Engineer to Engineer collaboration and help is encouraged and practised. - Not as much pressure on me as previous roles - Great sports and social, better than other companies - If you have kids the Kids Christmas Party is a big win - Work from home is flexible, dependant on your work. Usually only required on site one day a week. But some have to travel daily if it requires. -Health Insurance and pension after 6 months
Cons
- Hard spending freeze within the company for the forseeable, the perks other companies offer aren’t there. - Management struggle to make decisions between themselves. - Engineers get alot of blame passed down from unaccountable managers. - Lots of departures and no rehiring. - Depending on your department you may fall within a system you don’t like. - Advertised Job descriptions aren’t what you will be doing in reality. -Flexi early Fridays advertised but late meeting held with attendance required. - They will tell you you’ll get an Average bonus of X amount but it will be lower. Factor that in.
