Pros
The actual work itself is simple and redundant. Everything is on the same schedule and pace just like a factory, so there is little to no surprises.
Cons
The place is a continuation of high school with constant gossip, inappropriate discussions, and a lack of leadership. Upper Management has unrealistic demands to meet goals, and drops most of the load on the floor workers. Because Cook is bleeding (and has been for a while), instead of cutting back, they decided to submit even more orders, expecting the employees to increase their numbers, while simultaneously getting paid the same lousy wages. In addition, the mandatory overtime was initially awarded with weekly bonuses, equating to $450 to $600 guaranteed a month. Then they gave everyone a dollar raise and immediately ended the bonus program, hoping that no one would notice. Overall, the company has great people who work hard, and then an old boys club that sit atop the pyramid, watching their cash cow become infected with the incurable disease of greed and poor management.
