Great work/life balance, but pay and workload issues - Claims Adjuster CorVel Employee Review

Remote work, supportive management, Easy computer system and great training. Onboarding is amazing. If you need assistance, someone will help you ASAP. It’s not a complex system and they actually have a help feature to tell you exactly what you need to do to correct a diary/task. Management is well above average. They assist and jump in but show you how. They don’t just do it and move along or delegate the task. They don’t judge when they see you’re truly trying. And most of all, they care.

The benefits could be better.

Remote work and there were some nice coworkers.

It actually started off really well. There was great onboarding. Then they throw you to their incompetent, gossipy managers and supervisors acting like little schoolgirls. I didn’t like that. I said I didn’t need to know what others opinion of me were but it continued. The, “Listen, just wanted you to know what so and so is saying about you…” was rattling to me. I didn’t even know those people who were talking about me but my supervisor made sure I knew my coworkers were watching. I took over a few very bad accounts and when I cleaned up one, another was given to me. And the adjusters on the accounts prior to me were still there? I had to clean up the mess of adjusters who still had jobs there and that’s just confusing.
