Pros

Canteen, the chef his team do wonderful things but even they are getting beaten down. Free EV charging if you are fortunate enough to own one (funnily enough most of the senior leadership team do!)

Cons

Everything else! I would recommend anyone thinking of working at Corin to reach out to former employees, the reality of working there is miles away from the recruitment marketing material. What can you expect? For starters they’ll mention the bonus scheme but don’t worry about that, it’s not been paid since 2020 (unless you are executive level, who seem to get a bonus regardless! See the gender pay gap .gov website for more). Career progression is very hit or miss depending on who your line manager is, and if your face fits. Training again is very hit or miss, but on the whole there is basically zero training budget. There is a strong blame culture, and the only thing that really matters here is output and back orders. If you raise a safety or quality concern that stops shipment, be ready for the Spanish Inquisition. You’ll ultimately be overridden anyway, safety and quality are not Corins main priorities. Finally communication. Don’t expect to be kept in the loop with regards to business performance, P&L, targets and adherence to metrics. The best description of Corins employee communication strategy is mushroom management, they keep you firmly in the dark. You’ll get more gist of business performance from LinkedIn.

Pros

Benefits are cheaper than other places that I've worked, pay is fair, vacation time is excellent, my coworkers are really great people, the technology is life changing. Free snacks and drinks in the kitchen daily.

Cons

They don't give out as much swag anymore.

Pros

Nothing of any importance comes to mind.

Cons

- Lack of money so no bonuses paid & the company may fail at any moment - Technology is old; the new stuff just released is a new box around same basic tech; all competitors have high tech solutions for multiple applications; Corin put navigation on their limited knee system & try to market it as high tech - Customers must sacrifice; poor service level on their tech; stock-outs on implants & disposables - Employees seeking to improve company & pointing out areas for improvement are most likely to be shown the door with little to no severance - Management is only there to sell company, not to grow or make fundamental improvements; this is not a long-term stay
