Pros

The culture of learning by doing, makes this an amazing place to be The work culture cultivates a sense of curiosity towards finding solutions. Promotes in depth analysis and testing reinforced by state of the art environmental chambers and equipment. If you are an engineer willing to learn, this is a great place to be. Especially for refrigeration and thermodynamics. The nature of work helps awaken the scientist in you and bridges the gaps in your concepts.

Cons

- disparity in pay: huge variation in payscales between engineers of the same experience. Driven mostly by the proximity of an individual to the engineering director - indecisiveness amongst engineering managers: they fail to provide technical support and guidance at crucial points of the project due to a lack of experience in handling high pressure projects. - engineering leadership is a one man show. One man, directs engineering, has the final say in hiring and salary increments. - petty politics is peddled by the top management especially when a candidate resigns. - extremely poor handling of crises - veteran employees opine that the company has lost its former glory and is just a shadow of the entity that it used to be.
