Pros
My particular division of Fleetcor is not horrible to work at. Less to do with the company itself than my i immediate leaders doing what they can to make it a decent place to work. Healthcare costs are reasonable, PTO is good for entry level employees but it takes 10 years to earn any additional PTO, and they offer paid parental leave.
Cons
Retirement contribution is basically non-existent, which is shameful for a company of this size that reports year over year revenue growth. Have to work 10 years to earn additional PTO beyond what’s initially offered as a new hire. Pay is not competitive and, while yearly raises are given, they’re nowhere near enough to account for the increase in cost of living over the last few years. The biggest pain points in terms of my day to day job are dealings with IT and HR, which all filter through corporate for all lines of business. Both pieces of the organization change processes with no communication, leaving us guessing on how to meet our specific business needs. If you’re interested in remote work, you better have your own computer because it’s entirely too difficult to get equipment.
