Pros
Many great colleagues. Safety is taken very seriously (arguably to a fault). The PTO is genuinely world-class, and most other benefits aren't anything to sneeze at either.
Cons
The specific site I work at has a lot of dark secrets. So much so, the corporate head office sent HR representatives to do an anonymous interview with every employee on site. This measure was plenty justified; it is an open secret that instances of discrimination and harassment have gone largely unchecked by site management. Additionally, the progression scheme given to us is largely viewed as duplicitous. Employees are regularly given performance ratings that are, to be blunt, asinine. Many employees with years of experience struggle to gain credit as a SME in their particular area, which is (conveniently) tied to raises. It is so ridiculous, even team leads struggle to be considered SMEs in areas they actively manage and train new employees on.
