Pros
They get some great work that brings good people in, even for the low pay. The executives are well-intentioned.
Cons
The production department is led by self-serving, immoral, and deluded people. I've never worked at a company where the highest paid people are the least qualified, most ineffective employees. I've personally heard one of the directors say "I will do whatever it takes to keep my job" which means they had no problem taking other people down for their benefit. Not only are they self-serving and ineffective, but they will take credit for your work and blame you for their poor job done. They do not want you to do the right thing if it makes them look bad. There is also no HR, so no matter what, their word always wins out to the executives, which is disappointing. To get to the top here, you have to turn the other cheek at all the corruption and misconduct, or be a part of the problem. It's that easy and that hard. The bottom line is the good people do not stay.
