Pros
Chance to gain experience, benefits are pretty good, chance to change the life of someone for the better. The appreciation from families/patients regardless of what kind of shift you've had is always great.
Cons
Pay, staffing issues, favoritism, you get paged to 8 rooms at the same time every 5 seconds while they're seeing you walking down the hallway with a patient to the shower room. Also there's always a problem with the assignment, always changing never staying the same, at times it's understandable when we're short staffed or an emergency arises and someone has to leave but most days it's just CNA's, ones who've been there the longest, not wanting to deal with certain patients and complain and complain until they finally get what they want instead of just handling their permanent assignment. Just more unnecessary stress added to an already stressful job.
