Pros

None they are not a nice company to work for

Cons

I have had a very negative experience working with GP Alliance as a nurse, and I feel it’s important to share my concerns. The compliance and training processes were extremely difficult to navigate, often requiring hours—and sometimes even weeks—of unpaid time, which was incredibly frustrating. The pay rates for Practice Nurse positions were much lower than expected, especially considering the level of experience required. The management created a bunch of bullies , toxic, cliquey environment that was unprofessional and unfriendly. Gossip and a lack of inclusivity were common, making it feel like if your face didn’t fit, you were side-lined and shifts allocated to the favourite nurses . There was also a lack of proper communication, as contact details were not updated, and the agency failed to pass on the latest compliance information. The experience working with the GP alliance was equally disappointing. There was a clear lack of respect for clinical professionals, and rather than valuing the full scope of a Practice Nurse’s role, there was an expectation to take on tasks outside of training. This led to unsafe practices, a poor level of support, and a lack of professionalism in general. The Management are hopeless , and gained promoted by being friends than experience. Overall, I would not recommend GP Alliance to others seeking Practice Nurse positions its not worth your pin . It appears the company is more focused on meeting basic needs than valuing the professional skills and experience that come with the role." They just don't care

Pros

Social environment is great. Management try to be as supportive as possible. Issues are addressed politely and you feel valued. Shift/rota flexibility as well as hybrid work. Opportunities for starting a clinical career. Many lateral movements available career-wise

Cons

Awkward business model - organization doesn't have much control over budget as it's NHS funded. Not much room to grow/ evolve into more senior roles that scale
