Pros
Most of all, CraftJack is a fun, stress-free place to work. We recently finished foosball and ping pong tournaments, and were asked to think of any other fun activities for employees to take part in for the future. Besides that, the work is engaging; new technology is always being integrated (which fosters learning), and we are encouraged to pursue our own interests and develop ideas that may stem from them. Furthermore, the development process has been very organic. There is no stubbornly sticking with a way of doing things just because that's how it has always been done or because the methodology we chose dictates it. When something is working, we keep with it and if not, discard or change what isn't working so well.
Company-wide and within the development team, everyone's opinion is valued. Even as the company has grown, it continues to feel like a tight-knit group. The benefits are excellent: great health coverage, 401k, and a pretty unbeatable time off policy. Oh, and Bagel Fridays.
On top of all that, the work-life balance is stellar. I've never had an issue being allowed to work from home on days when the safety of a commute is questionable, or arriving late/leaving early to deal with life's little emergencies. It's a great place to work and I happily commute an hour each way to be here.
Cons
Nothing to complain about with the job really except that parking can sometimes be annoying.
