Pros
Benefits are decent albeit limited in options. Their training is thorough (at least in-person training, the lack of it during the pandemic makes the job incredibly challenging). Coworkers are generally polite and are helpful when they’re able to assist
Cons
Long hours, mandatory overtime, massive service distances and many, many contracts to satisfy with few employees. Lack of support from senior engineers. Pay seems decent at first, but raises are low and expectations / knowledge base for performing maintenance is all encompassing, it should come with higher pay. They recently created levels with job duties assigned to them, and pay scales for each level, however the demand of the work forces the branches to ignore these levels: level 1 technicians required to perform level 2-3’s duties are standard and expected. Service technicians are generally overworked. Acquiring parts for repairs is a challenge due to shipping / lack of availability / management who refuse to maintain stock in office locations. Some products appear to have design flaws which create problems with customer relations.
