The founders actively support technology and data science, and have been willing to internalize our team norms and practices around agile development and build-measure-learn-deploy. Week to week bonuses like paid lunches for the engineering team keep a smile on people's faces. Vesting plans for engineers are very rare in the Mexican market, and it reflects well on the founders and the board that are putting them in place.
Cons
We could have been faster to adopt a data-driven decision making culture but are improving rapidly here. Honorarios payment plans are hard for some engineers to swallow. Engineers with keen front-end / client-facing interests may become frustrated with the current backend emphasis.
