Cons
No work life balance. Employer will call you whenever they feel. Spoken down to if you are not equipped to handle a task that you are unfamiliar with. Empty promises about the next contract but it is never certain. Doing jobs outside of your scope. Could be fired at any time if given a new position that you are not familiar with even though given 0 training when moved to the new position. No opportunity for growth. High stress. Consistent hounding for hours. Made to count hours even after being hired as a salary worker. Had guaranteed bonus if on project as substitute pay for coming in on a lower salary but then tried to threaten bonus if hours were not 40 a week. If you are allowed to keep your equipment, get that in writing as they will try and take it back. Will fire you when there is a lack of work but will try and put in your termination papers "performance issues".
