Pros
Not to be dramatic, but I sat here for 10 minutes trying to come up with a single positive, as well as filled out everything else and came back to this and still can't come up with anything. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a company.
Cons
It's overstated, but the leadership is straight up toxic. Gaslighting, guilting, and manipulating employees left and right. They don't trust their own employees to work from home. They handled COVID horribly - masks were never even enforced in the office until an entire team tested positive. The CEO goes on inappropriate rampages about culture and makes you feel worthless. The COO is running the company to the ground. Unbelievably low salary with a poor incentive structure that does not make up for it, even for top performers. Little to no room for upward mobility. You will be expected to work hours beyond a 9-5 and there is zero OT pay, even though I think some roles could have a case for being misclassified as exempt from OT. The positive reviews are suspicious as every single person I have ever talked to at the company also hated it, but was not in a position they could afford to quit, but they were actively looking for a new job and applying to other companies. Take a look at the About Us page, most are under 30. This is because this job is impossible for you to have a family life/home life. This job caused tension between me and my significant other. This job pushed my mental health beyond the limits. There are so many mind games they play to get you to stay. I would have left as soon as I started but I needed the income. If there is one thing this company taught me, it's to take your time finding your new career change and be sure to do thorough research on what you're about to sign up for. Don't walk away, RUN AWAY as fast as you can.
