Pros

If you fall within a certain class of people (i.e. age, race, sex) they wish to hire and promote, then you may be treated well in my opinion. If you are not part of the class of people they want, then I would look elsewhere for a career.

Cons

In my opnion, they want a certain "look" for the firm, trying to make themselves look like Anderson again. Crowe markets themselves as an Alternative to the Big 4 and they try to charge Big 4 rates for second class resources. Unfortunately, the Big 4 has reduced their rates and Crowe has been repeatedly undercut on price, so their Anderson arrogence has worked against them as they loose out to the Big 4. Overall, I was very unimpressed with the level of resources at the firm and they continue to struggle in hiring qualified candidates. I wished I had never accepted their offer and I should not have believed their story about how they treat people fairly. It is all about how much profit can the Partners make, and if a certain Partner does not like you, look out.
