Pros

Some of the best reasons to work for Curant Health are the family-like environment, encouraged work-life balance, growth opportunities, and their employee appreciation is beyond what I've experienced - from random Amazon gift cards (who doesn't love Amazon?!) to company lunches (food trucks for all occasions), and fun activities in general. We're working, but it's also fun. This is a place that hears their employees and strives to make changes to benefit us all. The owners are heavily involved with all employees' levels and show us daily that we're in this together, especially during these COVID times. They truly treat us like family here and set the bar extremely high compared to other companies I've previously worked for. Lastly, they understand that we are human, and life happens, which also makes working here stress-free.

Cons

Curant Health is still a growing company, so things may change often. This can be seen as a con in general when changes are sudden with no understanding of "why," or nonproductive. We DO NOT have that issue here. Curant Health practices changes in a transparent and productive manner. Before change happens, it's heavily discussed with all the appropriate parties (including staff the change will directly impact) to understand the pros/cons and challenges. Before any change happens, all staff is trained appropriately. This company really involves all employees and gives us a voice!

Pros

Good Healthcare benefits. Locations are easily accessible with good parking. Good financial standing, business growth. Upper management has a plan for value capture that is resilient to market fluctuations.

Cons

Old technology. Extremely high turnover in all departments besides finance. Middle management was generally unprofessional and regularly ignored warnings from employees before problems arose. If you are a male, I would avoid altogether- I was treated rather poorly by the women here despite the few interactions I had with them, and I was informed that HR would be of no help even if I did make a complaint (HR had high turnover as well). I observed similarly negative behavior from some of the men towards the women as well, so the gender war is in full swing here. This isn’t a place for people that are interested in advancing their career past whatever position they accept, middle management was never replaced despite their many failures. If you manage to join the “in” crowd you may have a better experience but I wouldn’t rely on this as a strategy for success here. It felt a lot like a replay of high school.
