Pros
I've worked in business finance for 10 years, and I walked away from a 6 figure income and a book of loyal clients to start over with Currency for two reasons, the people and their ethics. The commitment that management has to your success is unquestionable. Of course hard work, being coachable and having a fierce desire to win is a necessity in sales. However, the support and the reward make it more than worth the effort. I've worked in environments where I felt my moral standards far exceeded those of my superiors, at Currecncy, we are encouraged to question everything and our suggestions and concerns are actually heard. As an example, within my first month on the job Currency secured a huge partnership they'd been working on for over a year. I had a suggestion on how I thought it could be even better. Not only did our CEO gladly hear my idea, it was pitched and accepted by our partners within days. Just a small glimpse of how although Currency is driven by a type A, highly competitive and motivated group of people at every level, there is still a humility and a willingness to hear every voice in order to make sure nothing is missed along the way. That is a culture I want to be a part of. (It is also nice that the compensation for hard work is the best I've seen in the industry by a long way...)
Cons
The first 3-6 months is a grind to build your book of business, but the ceiling for growth is limitless. If you work hard and remain coachable it is extremely difficult to fail.
