Would never recommend - Sales Assistant Currys Employee Review

unrealistic target that isn't formally set at the same time each month or week makes it hard to track. forced to sell to customers in a wrong way. Some managers would rather sales walk than help the customer. some customers especially the elderly they give staff tactics to almost scare them into taking the care plan. Made to do additional jobs like cleaning (understandable during covid but this was still before) told to stop doing your job and find stock to put out if you sold too many products without additional services even if it wasn't a good fit for the customer and sometimes they will leave customers waiting still. don't appreciate extra things staff go above and beyond to do. pulled off of lunch breaks if the store is busy but they don't give it back to you or the money. bad management who are unjust and some have been sexist. Older male staff was making inappropriate comments about the girls in the store and took months for anything to be done about it but everyone knew and would make jokes. Shifts will change very last minute without asking. there are too many systems that needs to be all in one.
