Pros

Genuinely love working here, breath of fresh air from the last two fintech firms I've worked at. From higher ups and HR to line management everyone is genuinely very kind. - Everyone gets on with it, hardly any unessential meetings giving you your own time back to work on what you need to work on - £15 welcome lunch towards a Deliveroo meal for every Cuvva employee when you first join - Genuine work-life balance with the 4 day work week and 3 day weekend - Line management and senior management will speak to you if they need to otherwise no needless conversation besides your bi-weekly 1:1 meetings, zero micro management and depending on what you're searching for there is plenty of room for mentorship and guidance - Camera being switched on during meetings rule not enforced here - Cuvva treats their employees like adults, not babies or children; can't say the same for a lot of these fintech firms - Very transparent about the state of the company and hiring etc. - Cross team collaboration is substantial - Requesting sick leave is not filled with guilt or pressure, they genuinely want you to be okay before you're back to work and its much appreciated. Plenty of trained mental health team members/first responders to go around for a chat - High retention rate, majority of my new colleagues have been working at Cuvva for 2-9 years! - Work from home possibilities depending on your contract

Cons

If you work in a bigger team, you'll want to book those holidays/annual leave days off wellllll in advance because depending on the field you work in your management may require a lot of cover meaning a lot of folks can't be off at the same time
