Pros

-You get to say you worked at a Cyber startup.

Cons

-An extremely exclusionary environment created, nurtured, and almost boasted in your face. Myself (and everyone in North America) constantly felt like outsiders. But then you look around at the folks based in our HQ (Israel) and it becomes certain that they weren't working harder/smarter/more diligently than anyone stateside. --If you don't speak Hebrew, you'll be left out of conversations that were literally JUST being conducted in English. On team calls, at internal only on-sites... in every situation you can imagine. -The "Chief Business Officer" at the time was more busy bragging about all of his massive success and all of the money he made during his Checkpoint days, his 7-figure watch collection, and his bourbon collection -- more so than he was focused on leading a focused effort on how Sales & Marketing would align. Of how that would align with product growth and market re-alignment. There was no plan. We were shooting in the dark. ----Oh, and you had to pay extra at a work dinner if you wanted a cocktail that wasn't wine or beer. :) A new CMO was hired and fired immediately. The only good decision Cyberpion has seemingly made since I've been affiliated. --We had ONE case study even though we boasted hundreds of clients --I started writing my own one sheets based off of clients that weren't referenceable but that we could white label. Sent to "leadership" - no response for weeks. I could go on for days..... Then this new CEO guy steps in. After callously laying off the entire sales org with ZERO severance or path forward, he has the gall to reach out -- WEEKS later -- asking senior sales leaders for an opportunity to take time off of their now personal calendar to discuss what was flawed with the sales process and how what they've learned at Cyberpion could benefit the org moving forward. Mind blowing. I could go on for days, but here's my simple advice: this company is cruel, the product isn't ready, and it's easily the biggest mistake of my professional career.
