Pros
Work from home flexibility (although have since enforced mandatory office days) Get to work in sport Annual bonus (although isn’t very transparent) There are still some incredibly talented people at DAZN, but unfortunately one by one they are leaving. You get access to DAZN which you can switch to any region around the world Can progress fairly quickly - which is a blessing and a curse as you’ll be thrown into the deep end and not offered any support Pay is not bad
Cons
No respect for work life balance Office is dead Blame culture rather than a focus on collaboration Want to become the ‘Spotify’ for sport, but with dwindling rights and new competitors in the market with a bigger presence, it’ll be like if Spotify didn’t have music Genuinely not a care in the world for customers. Everything is done to absorb as much money as possible from loyal sports fans regardless of how it is done Incredible disorganisation throughout the business Outsourced tons of work to Hyderabad - some talented people but there is such a clear disconnect both with communication, understanding and who is responsible for what A lot of people in senior positions who just do not understand sport. Work life balance is non existent, expected to work weekends without any extra compensation Product feels like it’s years behind competitors. No 4K, laggy interface, horrendous repeating b roll in ad breaks etc
