Pros

The culture here is amazing – everyone is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely cares about each other. Leadership is approachable and really listens, and there’s a great focus on celebrating wins and recognizing hard work. It's rewarding to be part of a company that’s so focused on improving health and wellness.

Cons

It’s an incredibly fast-paced environment, with the company experiencing a huge amount of growth on a global scale. While it can be challenging to keep up sometimes, it’s also exciting to be part of such rapid progress. Additionally, parking options could be improved to make commuting easier for employees.

Pros

- Flexible working hours were a strong positive before a management change. - The team itself was skilled, collaborative, and supportive despite the environment.

Cons

- The team consisted of eight engineers (data, BI, and analytics) reporting into three managers with competing priorities, resulting in unclear direction and constant context switching. - Management lacked effective prioritization and people‑management skills, leading to confusion, unrealistic expectations, and low morale. - There was no defined career progression or development pathway. - Agile practices (sprints, daily stand‑ups, etc.) were introduced but used primarily as a micromanagement tool. Performance was judged largely by burn‑down charts rather than outcomes or quality, discouraging honest estimation and sustainable delivery. - Over time (In the span of 4 months), approximately 90% of the team left, largely due to management practices and the overall working environment, resulting in significant loss of knowledge and continuity.

Pros

DBG Health is genuinely a great company with good people, meaningful work, and a supportive culture. I enjoy the mission and the team, and I believe the organization has a lot of potential.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the lack of flexibility around working arrangements. Since COVID, the way people work & live has changed significantly. Many companies now offer at least some hybrid options because it improves work life balance, employee satisfaction, and productivity. At DBG, all employees are currently required to be onsite five days a week. In my previous role, we worked from home two days a week and that flexibility made a huge difference. I was happier, more focused, and more motivated to put in extra effort. Here, the rigid policy has already made me consider leaving, and I know it may discourage strong potential candidates as well.
