Pros

- great people - nice office (Berlin) - laid-back atmosphere - many perks (e.g. unlimited vacation, home office, flexible working hours etc.) - awesome events, partys, retreats

Cons

The company has grown very fast over the past few years. In 2018 management introduced a very controversial organizational structure called BETA. It is somewhat similar to holocracy. The alleged absence of hierarchies led to problems on multiple levels, like for example the diffusion of responsibility, indecisiveness, a flawed salary increase process, just to mention a few. Introducing this system was a bold and risky decision. Despite all the obvious problems and the wide-spread skepticism among employees management is unfortunately not willing to admit that BETA was a mistake.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this very thoughtful review. We knew that removing our hierarchy and introducing our own structure would cause a lot of changes and yes - maybe also some chaos. We are constantly working on our organizational structure (BETA), are open to make adjustments when it comes to many processes and will always work on it. It would be great to go into detail in a personal meeting and discuss how you think we can further improve our organization. Please feel free to reach out directly to Management or us in the People Team. We would really want to understand your concerns better.
