Pros
The staff are fantastic. Really lovely people who don't get the recognition they deserve for the work they do. Nice new office in Manchester
Cons
After working for Diversity for several years, I genuinely thought that this would be the place I'd work for the rest of my days. However private equity took over and the cost cutting began. The workload was ridiculous and the wages did not equal the amount of work we were asked to do. Senior management are clueless. I've never known a management team to not actually understand what the department does whilst giving orders that make no sense. It's quite astounding that no one listens to people on the front line as to why things aren't working yet putting stupid policies and procedures in place that make no sense. Also unbelievable that hundreds of thousands of pounds were spent on a new office then rounds of redundancies were put in place where excellent people left. Looking back now, I can see how toxic the place is and no amount of faux positive reviews will make me change my mind on this. They don't care about you, they are not interested in how you feel about the job and are more bothered about stats that dont add up and pulling you on the most ridiculous things. If you're thinking of applying for a job at diversity, don't.
