Pros
Like other national government agencies, there is a security of tenure. Since there are only few personnel in our division, I have been given lots of learning and development opportunities. You can also have lots of network since you need to work hand-in-hand with other DILG Regional Offices.
Cons
Understaffed. Some staff may be asked to double hat leading to burnout and demotivation among high performing staff. Management is too lenient to those underperformers.
