Pros

You can make okay money here if you are willing to be beaten and abused verbally by customers every day over and over with no break in between. Management says they have an open door policy

Cons

After being hired they make you prove your employment by submitting to 3 tests. 2 of which are exam related, the 3rd is based on your close rate. You need a minimum of a 55% close rate to not be fired which is darn near impossible. Benefits are expensive They require 5 hours overtime minimum every week They ask you to spend money to save people but the more you spend the less commission you make. The base pay isn't high enough to justify the abuse required to do this job They monitor your every breath and every second of your life. They will milk you for everything you've got every day. Call after call of verbal abuse with not even a second to breathe in The industry is dying and streaming will eventually take over. So just know that in a couple of years your job will be gone. They have accounted for this by investing in slingtv. They realize that they're hiring people for a temporary position and address it in training. Work here at your own demise.

Pros

Work from home is the only pro I can think of

Cons

They don’t provide any equipment aside from the computer itself. They mislead you during the interview and job description. You are paid according to price of product sold and close rate however it’s all inbound calls and you can not call back. The inbound calls are lousy, people who don’t even have a $1 on a card in order to do the eligibility check, or no card at all.. poor credit which leads to higher out of pocket costs. I think only a handful of times I couldn’t overcome the spousal objection or the just shopping objection. Those I will take responsibility for but if I’m getting calls from people who don’t have a card or don’t have a $ or don’t have the money to put down OR already have an account or is a mis-transfer or were passed along because the technicians have to make referrals even though the customer isn’t actually interested in the product yet the tech makes them still call.. that’s crap and it’s not real sales.
