      Smart lawyers who creatively engage and work hard for their clients. No slouches at DLA.

      Cons

      No consistent office by office culture. HR makes decisions that negatively affect staff, without first understanding wht it is the staff person does.

      - Excellent pay and benefits - Flexibility with the hybrid schedule (depending on your practice group) - Easy to build community with other assistants and paralegals

      Cons

      - Easy to fall into burnout due to understaffing in assistant/paralegal positions - Be prepared for an unexpectedly higher or lower workload at any point. - D.C. location is particularly strict about the hybrid expectations - A bit disorganized as a whole when it comes to onboarding and training for your particular practice group.
